Our Hiring Process

Our goal at Worden & Carbitcher is to provide you with the best legal services possible. We know how important your case is, as well as your time and financial investment. We've spent years streamlining our process, working on our communication with our clients, and ensuring you receive the kind of legal service we'd expect for our own families.

When it comes to our hiring process, we approach it carefully and thoroughly so that both you and your attorney feel confident in the agreement moving forward.

Our Process

Initial Contact

You can contact our office by phone, chat, and email. If it is after our business hours or we are unavailable, we have a call service to assist.

We offer free consultations for some types of cases including criminal and victim protective orders. Legal advice cannot be given during these consultations due to legal ethics. For family law cases and complicated matters, we offer paid consultations.

We charge $150 for a 30-minute phone or in-person consultation and $300 for an hour.
Rather than receiving only general information, a paid consultation allows our team to offer you limited legal representation so that we can ethically give legal advice about your case. Paid legal consultations can help you accomplish some of your initial goals, such as reviewing a contract, filling out legal paperwork, and receiving individual options specifically related to your case.

If you choose to move forward with Worden & Carbitcher, you must pay your retainer fee or flat fee downpayment, and sign a fee agreement (contract) and fill out a client intake form. Once these items are taken care of, the hiring process has been completed and you will be assigned an attorney to begin work on your case.
