What Can You Do For Me?

We get this question a lot. Many people are wanting to know whether or not they can “solve” their criminal or family matters without an attorney. While legally, yes, you may forego representation in any legal matter, our question always comes down to this: “Would you attempt to fix your own broken bones?”

And the answer is of course not. You would call a physician.

Our team at Worden & Carbitcher is your legal physician.

Something in your life is broken - maybe it's your relationship with your spouse, an arrest, or custody of your children. Whatever it may be, the temptation to bandage the problem rather than treat it can ultimately come back to harm you in the end.

Many of our clients who come to us after trying to fix their own problems have wasted time, emotional energy, and hundreds to thousands of dollars that could've been better spent hiring a skilled attorney to do the job for them.

It is proven to be more costly in the end should you have to repeat a process, re-file paperwork that was submitted incorrectly, attend multiple court dates, and more. While the upfront costs of hiring an attorney may seem more expensive, you are more likely to save money in legal fees compared to self-representation once your process is complete.

Not only do we have decades of combined experience in family and criminal law, but our clients' successes support the reputation of our firm. We are confident in our abilities and efficient in the services we provide - we will always fight for the best possible outcome in your case.

Family Law

In family law, we provide legal services in areas of divorce, child custody, stepparent adoption, protective orders, guardianship, DHS, and name change. If you're dealing with a family law matter that is not on this list, we may be able to provide legal services or refer you to someone who can, so please still give us a call.

Criminal Law

For criminal law, we represent clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases. DUI, DWI, drug trafficking, expungements, juvenile crimes, VPOs, and larceny are just a few of the legal matters our criminal defense attorneys represent on a regular basis. We would love to schedule a consultation with you to discuss your options.
